Description

Maintenance dredging of approximately 1,569,000 cubic yards of unclassified material from Charleston Harbor Upper Reaches, Shipyard River and TC Dock, Berkeley and Charleston Counties, South Carolina. Material shall be deposited in the Clouter Creek Disposal Area. The work includes complying with the requirements of the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammals Protection Act. MAGNITUDE OF WORK is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Project is a 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 237990 wi th a size standard $18.5M. Additionally, to be considered a small business, the firm must perform at least 40% of the volume dredge with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern. Contractor must be registered in the DOD Centra l contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of this solicitation. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Bidders m ust be registered in the CCR and at the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) Homepage (https://www.fedteds.gov/)in order to view or download the solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendme nts. The solicitation will be posted on or about October 13, 2006 with bids due on or about November 14, 2006.
