- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) under FAR PART 13. This constitutes the only solicitation notice; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. CLOSING DATE: 5:00 PM 25 SEP 2006 EST. The National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) Bethesda, Maryland intends to procure the following: Description Quantity Unit of Issue Preparation of documents (Removal of fasteners and insertion of document separator sheets) 200,000 EA Scanning of documents-300 dpi black and white (Estimated 2000 in each of 1000 boxes) 200,000 EA Reassembly of documents 200,000 EA Optical Character Recognition 200,000 EA File Indexing and Naming 1,000 EA The offeror shall be responsible for the knowledge of applicable provisions and clauses. The provisions and clauses may be accessed in full text at http://acquisition.gov/far/index.html. The offeror shall complete and include 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification - Commercial Items, with submitted quote. The offeror shall be registered in the Central contractor Registry (CCR) database prior to award. The CCR database can be accessed at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government shall select the offeror which provides the best value. Past Performance may also be a factor in the Governments decision to award.
