- Solicitation Number N00421-06-T-0284 is hereby released as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used for acquisition of these commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12, effective 4 August 2006. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order for Commercial Items for the products listed below. Quotes are hereby requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Ship & Shore Based Electronics Systems (Code 4.5), St. Inigoes, MD, has a requirement for the C5180 Copier. Specifications are as follows: Two (2) Machines controlled by a Master Controller; Minimum 50 page per minute color and black and white each machine; Three (3) hole punch capable; Saddle stitch capable; Additional Paper Deck (minimum capacity 2500 sheets of 20 lb bond); 1GB memory minimum; Security Kit; 512 mb expansion ram (minimum); Cassette feeding unit; Advanced controller. This requirement also includes a Service Contract for all parts, labor, and toners and Removal of the existing CLC5000. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 532420, ?Office Machinery And Equipment Rental And Leasing? with a size standard of $23M. The Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) and Descriptions for this procurement are: ** CLIN 0001 ? Color ImageRUNNER C5180 (1.2.4) ? (Qty 2 Ea.); Includes 2 Ea. of the following Accessories: Cassette Feeding Unit-Z1 (5); 512 MB Expansion Ram-C1; Saddle Finisher-W2 (7.8); Advanced Controller I/F Kit; Security Expansion Board-E1; ImageRUNNER Security Kit-A2 (21); Paper Deck Y1 (7); Color Pass GX100; and 1GB Memory for GX100; CLIN 0002 ? Maintenance Agreement for a period of Twelve (12) Months & Removal of Existing CLC5000. ** THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES FOR ITEMS OTHER THAN THOSE LISTED IN THIS SYNOPSIS. ** The Government shall have full coverage of any Standard Commercial Warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Government's rights under the Inspection clause, nor does it limit the Government's rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the warranty. The warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable deliverables listed in the schedule. FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 2006) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 EVALUATION?COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 1999) does not apply to this acquisition. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. FAR 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS ?COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JUN 2006), is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (SEP 2005), is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (AUG 2006) applies to this acquisition. DFARS 252.212-7001 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS APPLICABLE TO DEFENSE ACQUISITIONS OF COMMERCIAL ITEMS (SEP 2006), is incorporated by reference. The Government will accept quotes from all responsible sources with the capability to provide the products cited above and will award a Purchase Order resulting from this RFQ to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government.
