Description
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of support services for the Aviation Command and Control (C2) Engineering Division, Code 66, to provide a broad range of complex electronic systems to the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Central Air Force (CENTAF), and other government and non-government agencies. The Contractor shall provide engineering, technical, and computer services encompassing, but not limited to, the following: high level engineering, system integration, planning, research, development, software support, logistics, and project management. The Government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Performance-Based type contract with a base year plus four one-year options and a two-year award term provision. This procurement will be conducted under full and open competition. The NAICS Code is 541330 and the applicable size standard is $25 million. The estimated release date for the RFP is on or about 15 October 2006. It is the offerors' responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet at the following SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston WEBSITE address: http://www- chas.spawar.navy.mil. No paper distribution of these documents will be provided. The anticipated award date of the subject contract is scheduled for FEB 2007.
