75th CONTRACTING SQUADRON HILL AFB, UTAH COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR Electronic Gate Replacement for MAM?s area in Hill AFB ( SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD ) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. STATEMENT OF WORK SCOPE: Replace manually operated chain link gate with automated chain link gate and operator at MAMS I Gate 103. PURPOSE: These gates are old and very difficult to move in climate weather. Automating these gates will allow timely delivery of explosive to and from the MAMS Area. Furthermore these gates are located a long way from the key control centers wasting necessary man power that can be used elsewhere. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: The contractor will coordinate with Teri Bartruff DRMS before installation begins. She can be reached at 777-5530. Mr. Gary Cordon 75 CEZS will act as project management for the duration of this contract and he may be reached at 777-0075. He will also coordinate with 75 CEG Red Stakes and obtain a valid digging permit. Contractor will: ? Furnish and install 20? X 7 + 1 VPL ?Auto-gate? with wind bracing, and cycle counter. ? Furnish and install 1 double stanchion reader mount with 4 concrete bollards. ? Furnish and install 2 prox+pin readers and associated wiring back to 1424 ( ADI quote # PWT50300: Part Number HU-5355AGK00 259.99ea ) ? Furnish and install 2 MR-50?s ( Honeywell Vindicator Security Solutions quote # 773555: Part number 574-32658-02 218.00ea ) ? Furnish and install concrete pad for motor/operator ? Furnish and install concrete bollards in front of motor/operator ? Furnish and install poles and fencing to close gap between existing fence line and new gate ? Furnish and install 2 day/night vision cameras, DVR, power supply, cabling and power supply in GFCI cabinet located in NW corner of 1424 ( Northern Video Systems Quote # 800995, or equivalent equipment as stated on the quote ) ? Remove old chain link gate and dispose of in accordance with 01000 ? Install two safety loops, free exit loop, and test (loops saw cut and sealed) ? Furnish and install new light pole 25' with 1000 watt metal halide light as per site visit. ? Provide electrical power to VPL and street light and comm from building 1424 ? Saw cut and trench as necessary. Asphalt will be removed and disposed of as per 01000 requirements. ? Fill trench and compact and make ready for asphalt. Compaction should result in a 4? gap to existing asphalt. Asphalt will be installed and rolled as soon as asphalt plant is in production ? Relocate signs on new gate Contractor will warranty parts and labor for a period of not less than one year from date of acceptance Contractor will ensure that any and all tools, parts and equipment associated with this task are stored neatly during the performance of this contract and that the areas where the actual work is performed is cleaned to the satisfaction of the facility engineer. Period of performance for this task is sixty days from award date to final inspection. Contractor is responsible for all clearances, area badges and vehicle passes associated with this task.
