- Description
- The U. S. Department of Commerce/National Oceanic and Atmospheric/NESDIS/AD intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price purchase order with Security for Information Technology Lusby MD, for the continuation of contractors support for NESDIS HQ IT Security Program. Contractor shall review NESDIS IT Security Plans, to provide updates as necessary and participate in NESDIS HQ IT Security Team process to certify and accredit systems and review policy. Contractor has developed tools so the data can be used to accurately read all the systems in NESDIS, and the NOAA-standard IT Security Plan software Database for all NESDIS IT Systems, including National Critical, Mission Critical and Business Essential System. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, using simplified acquisition procedures. NIACS Code is 561621 All Responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. Offerors certain they can meet the requirement may submit in writing an affirmative response and statement of technical capabilities. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Affirmative written responses must be received no later than September 20, 2006. All information in response to this notification must be submitted in writing to the attention of Sally Huber, Contract Specialist.
