- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-12. This solicitation is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ) #E003254. This solicitation is being issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) authorized by the Test Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423610, Business size standard is 100 employees and is set-aside for small businesses. This will be a Fixed Price Contract. The Government needs to acquire the following items: (1) 124 boxes of 18/4 PL ,4-Conductor, Stranded, Overall Shielded, Plenum, CMP-CL2P, 1000? Pull Box; (2) 62 each of CAT6E PL, Wire, Plenum, 4 Pr/24; (3) 124 boxes of 18/6 PL Stranded, Plenum, CMP-CL2P, 1000 foot Pull Box; (4) 124 boxes of 16/2 PL, 2-Conductor, Stranded, Plenum, CMP-CL2P, 1000 foot Pull Box, and (5) 124 boxes of 22/4 PL, 4-Conductor, Stranded, Plenum, CMP-CL2P, 1000 foot Pull Box. All interested parties are requested to provide a quotation specifying pricing, date of delivery, shipping, and warranty information. All quotes received within five (5) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Delivery shall be made to Sixty-two (62) locations within continental United States, along with Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. All quotes shall be submitted to the e-mail address: almeta.dixon@ic.fbi.gov or to the above address no later than 2:00 p.m., EST, Tuesday, September 26, 2006, and be clearly marked with RFQ #E003254. Offerors are hereby notified that if your quote is not received by the date/time and at the location specified in this announcement, it will be considered late. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the FAR provisions at 52.212-1 Instructions To Offerors-Commercial Items (Jan 2006), 52.212.3 Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items (Mar 2005), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items (Sept 2005) and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items (Feb 2006) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. Offerors will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (JAN 1999). The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical ability to meet requirement, Price, Shipping and Warranty in descending order of importance. Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted by the offeror in response to this notice.
