Description
This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 and Defense Acquisition Circular 20060908. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611519, size standard $6.5 Million. The contractor shall provide the following: All labor, transportation, tools, equipment, and material necessary to train and certify a maximum of 20 individuals in Confined Space Operational and Water Technician (without rope component) on Andersen AFB, GU. Training and certification must satisfy requirements established in AFI 32-2001. Training must begin NLT 30 Sep 2006. Courses must provide a minimum of total 5 work days training experience and not exceed 14 days. Minimum instructor to student ratio is 1:10. This is a best value award ? evaluation factors include price, technical capacity to meet the requirement, experience. Please provide information to evidence of experience related to previous projects of similar scope, size, and complexity.
