Description

NSN 1290-00-764-7761, Part number 7647761, The item to procure is a M27 Fuse Setter, can be manufactured from aluminum alloy 355 or 356 temper T6 materials. Option to use precision casting per MIL-C-11866 or permanent or semipermanent mold casting pe r QQ-A-596 or sand casting per QQ-A-601. Fuse Setter is T handle shaped, T is 8.5 inches long X 1/4 inch thick with 2 3/8 diameter X 2 23/32 inch base and tapered bore. Requirements are 644 each, fuze setter. FOB is destination. For use on the Howitzer, 155 MM, M198. Estimated issue date is 27 SEP 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Failure to obtain any said amendment s and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Proposed contract is 10 0% small business set-aside. All or part of this action is an unfunded FY 06 requirement.
