Description

Vicksburg Consolidated Contracts Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Consolidated Electronic Wire & Cable Corp, 11044 King Street, Franklin Park, Illinois 60153. This is for Belden YR15971 and YR7869 instrumentation cables, which have military specifications and have been characterized and matched to be compatible with the instrumentation used by the explosive experiment instrumentation personnel. Two firm-fixed price awards for commercial items wil l be made using procedures in FAR Part 12, one with Civil Funding and one with Military Funding. Any other responsible source able to provide the referenced cable is encouraged to respond to this announcement by 4 P.M. Central time, September 25, 2006. Th is is not a request for quotations and therefore no solicitation is available.
