Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302(1) to Jane's Information Group, 110 N Royal Street, Suite 200, Alexandra, VA 22314 as the only source for the product required. The proposed action is to purchase the Consortium of Naval Libraries (CNL) subscription which includes the following: Jane's Defense Equipment Library; Jane's Sentinel Library; Jane's Security Library; Jane's Market Intelligence Library; Jane's Transport Library, and Jane's Defense Magazine Library. The contract is expected to be a FFP one time purchase. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis. The Government reserves the right to confirm the ability of any respondent to meet the requirements. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
