Description
The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price purchase order THROUGH A BRAND NAME MANDATORY SOLE SOURCE ACQUISITION and will utilize procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. THE MANUFACTURE OF THE BRAND NAME MANDATORY SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS IS THE MACHIDA, INC.. The following products will be bought: (2 each of the following items) borescope kit for TF40B engine, borescope model FBA-3-100B, borescope model FBA-4-100T, light source RH-24N, sparelamo model L-24N, deckron tube delt-2, magic arm MA0030, clamps MA-0030-1, camera adapter CA-II, carrying case, and MACHIDA video system model MCV-510S. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 22 September 2006 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The size standard is 500 employees and the applicable NAICS Code is 423410. This is not a set-aside procurement. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. The prospective awardees must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible! for award.
