- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation to satisfy the government?s requirement and to promote full & open competition for commercial item(s)/supply(s) (Fiber Optic Splicing Trailer) per format in subpart part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only publication; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) and the solicitation number is M6700106Q0146, Documentation number M9305706SS00387. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for all qualified small businesses the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-05. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 423610 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The purpose of this solicitation is to procure the commercial item/service listed below, in support of CSD aboard Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC. The item/supply required: Line Item 0001, 8? x 12? Fiber Optic Splicing Trailer or similar item 2 each. Specifications: Structural aluminum frame; Full width rear step bumper; Adjustable height pintle; 7000 lb. adjustable top-wind front jack; Electric brakes all 4 wheels; Dexter Torflex tandem axles with 5 stud hub & drums; ST205/75R15 radial tire w/ 5 bolt wheel; Fully D.O.T. compliant trailer lighting, 6 way round trailer connector; Single rear door, left hand hinge, flush lock, window in top half; Single side door, right hand hinge, flush lock, window in top half, installed on curbside wall; 2 ea-18?x18? lift up fiber cable access doors with 2?x6? cable slot door with interior latch, opening outward; 2 ea.-Fiber cable access door snap covers;2 ea. 30?x15? radiused tinted glass slider windows located on street side. The Electrical Specifications needed inside the trailer are as follows: 50 amp panel box, include main & circuit breakers; 4 ea. 110 volt 15 amp duplex interior power outlet s; 3 ea. 110 V GFI exterior power outlets w/weathertite box, 2 ea. curbside, 1 ea. rear; 2 ea. 4? flush-mounted dual fluorescent ceiling lights; 2 ea. strobe beacons located front curbside and rear street side corners of roof; 1 ea. ?Nighthawk? carbon monoxide detector, mounted over street side work surface; Ship-to-shore power outlet w/25? power cord & integral battery charger/maintainer; 115 volt powered roof vent. 24? wide x full length countertop, street side interior w/adjustable height splicer insert; 12" wide shelf over street side windows with 2ea. fluorescent strip lights under. A substantial generator will be needed to power the trailer. Please list the type and specifications of the generator. Also, a substantial AC unit will be required to keep the trailer cool as well. Please list the type of AC unit and specifications. In addition, list any miscellaneous items that would be required as well.
