- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement is the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is 104167A and is issued as a (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-12. The NAICS code is 339920 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. This requirement is being set-aside for small business. Offerors must be registered in Central Contract Registration (CCR). This acquisition is firm-fixed price and solicited on a Brand Name basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (c ). The description and specification provided herein, is essential to the Government?s requirement. The Government will award a single purchase order to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirements as stated in this synopsis and is most advantageous to the Government based on the lowest price. The government requirement for the purchase, delivery and installation for eight, bright blue color wrestling mats in the following dimensions: Quantity of one (1): 36'6"x 31'6" ; Quantity of one (1): 1'4" x 17'6"; Quantity of one (1): 1'4" x 4'8"; Quantity of one (1): 1'4" x 17'5"; Quantity of one (1): 10" x 7'1"; Quantity of one (1): 10" x 18'10"; Quantity of one (1): 11'4" x 37'10"; and Quantity of one (1): 4'6" x 4'10". All mats shall meet the following characteristics: AMC-2 form core or equal with continuous 1.25? thick foam core; Foam core shall be a compression/deflation of 5.5-7.5 psi or greater and meet ASTM testing standard D1056. The mats shall be two-sided wrestling mat; coated on both sides and edges with 100% vinyl lining coating; foam core shall have elongation property of 125% and meet ASTM testing standard. Offerors shall include in their quotation for the purchase and installation of Slot Back Wainscot Panels for installation. The panels shall be at least 2? thick The mats and panels shall be installed within twelve (12) weeks of award of the purchase order. The work shall be completed in the Washington, DC metro area, specifically in Prince Georges County, Maryland. The government intends to award a firm, fixed price purchase order to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to the Request for Quotation as provided herein, is lowest price.
