Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Southern Region Contracting Center-West (SRCC-W) intends to award a firm fixed- price contract on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) to Advanced Measurement Technology, Inc., 801 S. Illinois Ave., Oak Ridge, TN 37831-0895, for the purchase of the Ortec DIGIDART-POSGE portable multichannel analyzer, Ortec ISO-CART mechanical support system, Ortec ISOPLUS-B32 analysis software, Ortec Model N250IS operator training, and extended warranty. The Army Medical Department Center and School, NBC Sciences Branch, Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234 shall receive the items within 75 days from receipt of order. The supplies to be provided are commercial with the meaning of FAR Clause 52.212-1. The contract will be issued on or about Septembe r 25, 2006 with an estimated cost of $35,581.00.
