Description

This Procurement will be conducted under FSC Code: 6350, SIC Code: 5063, NAICS Code: 423610. The size standard for this code is 100 employees. TYPE OF AWARD: This acquisition shall be an Unrestricted Request for Quote (RFQ). All responsible business sources may respond. JOB DESCRIPTION: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District has a r equirement for equipment and software for project PIER SECURITY UPGRADES, PN57883, AND REPAIR & UPGRADE LOT 2/T-10. This equipment entails: a) CCTV and monitoring equipment; b) Access control and IDS monitoring system equipment; c) Intrusion detection sy stem (IDS) monitoring equipment, d) Security console (furniture); and e) Emergency standby generator and switches. There is no requirement for installation of the equipment, this will be a purchase of equipment only. All quotations are due back not late r than 28 Sep 06 at 01:00 pm (PST). The acquisition method is Request for Quotation (RFQ). Evaluation factors/basis for award shall be as follows: Responsive, technically acceptable, low priced, responsible and compliant vendor shall be awarded the cont ract. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. Vendors are advised that this PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. ORDERING SOLICITATION: The solicitation shall be available on or about 22 Sep 06. The RFQ shall not be provided in hard paper copy. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition shall be posted on a secure Government website known as FedTeDS. Access to the solicitation documents on the FedTeds website shall be via a hyperlink. The hyperlink shall be inserted i nto the notices for this acquisition posted on both the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website (https://acquisition.amry.mil/asfi/) and the FedBizOpps (FBO) website (www.fbo.gov) once the solicitation is issued. The hyperlink shall not apprear on a w ebsite address, but as text as follows: Available online via the FedTeDS (Federal Technical Data Solution) website. Viewing/downloading documents from FedTeDS shall require prior registration in Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov). If you are a first-time FedTeDS user, you shall also be required to register in FedTeDS (www.fedteds.gov) before accessing the solicitation documents.
