- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issu ed. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to: Atlas Specialty Lighting Tampa, FL for the procurement of IDC Christie DLV1280DX Modules. Atlas Specialty Lighting is deemed the sole distributor of this service. INTENTION: Award the above-stated requirement directly to Atlas Specialty Lighting. The supplies/services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources under the authority of FAR 13.106(b) (1). Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. DURATION: Delivery to be made by no later than 29 Septe mber 2006. All quotations received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this noti ce is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
