Description

Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma WA. Intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Gen-Probe, Inc. for reagent rental and test kits. The proposed contract action is for supplies, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only on e source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received after the publicat ion of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considere d solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22.
