Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a Purchase Order to Merlin International, Inc. of Greenwood Village, CO for the purchase of Introscope Software Maintenance support for the period of September 30, 2006 through September 29, 2007. This software maintenance support is currently known to be available only through Merlin International, Inc. This maintenance is to be used in conjunction with the purchase by the SSA of Introscope software to complete a total solution for Websphere applications at the agency. Other organizations that believe they are capable of meeting the SSA?s requirements are invited to submit information establishing a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. If the SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, SSA shall issue a sole source award of the maintenance under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Verbal responses are NOT acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice must be submitted by September 23, 2006 by 12:00 PM EST. Responses may be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to the point of contact listed below. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED. No submissions may exceed 5MB.
