Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Innovation Data Processing, Innovation Plaza-3rd Floor, 275 Paterson Avenue, Little Falls, New Jersey 07424-1658 for the requirements specified herein under the authority provided in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b), as the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. SSA currently utilizes the software products ABR, FDR and DSF with COMPAKTOR, and FDRREORG proprietary site licenses for upgrade and online technical support. This software is already installed and operating on machines located at the SSA National Computer Center, 6201 Security Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21235. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; however, this information will be used in SSA?s assessment of capable sources. Responses to this notice should be submitted by September 28, 2006, 3:00 p.m. Eastern time and should refer to ABRCS0906. The size limitation for email attachments is five megabytes per individual email message. If after September 28, 2006 no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, SSA shall initiate negotiations solely with Innovation Data Processing.
