Description
This is a sources sought notice issued for market research purposes only. This is not a request for proposal. The Mine safety and Health Administration is seeking sources who can provide a full range audiovisual services at the National Mine Academy, located in Beaver, WV and at field locations, to include surface and underground mines nationwide. The services that are sought include: Imaging services, including TV, video, DVD, satellite, ITVC, audio and audiovisual production services and products Photographic services including still photographic services using digital and 35 mm cameras, in black and white and in color, in studio, field, and mining industry environments Graphic Arts services to include computer generated AV products and computer generated typeset material Writing Editing Services to include developing, writing, editing , and revising training and other materials on a wide range of subjects related to mine safety and health, laws, regulations, and other aspects such as safety concepts, hazard analysis, inspection procedures, and standards Vendors must have experience in the performance of these services both in a studio and in a field setting, including mining industry environments, including underground mines, and possess all training and certifications required to perform these services in underground mines as stated in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 30, Parts 46 and 48 All interested parties are requested to respond to this notice in writing by fax, mail or email by 3:00PM EDT, Monday August 28, 2006. Responses shall include company information as well as details of all experience in performing audiovisual services in an industrial setting, specifically services performed within underground mines. In addition, responses shall give details of compliance with the training as required by Code of Federal Regulations, Title 30, Parts 46 and 48. This is a sources sought notice only and is not a request for proposals. No solicitation for these services exists and no contract for these services is contemplated.
