Description
The purpose of Amendment #1 is to (1) Provide the Government's response to questions received in response to this RFQ; and (2) change the CAT6e requirement to CAT6. The questions and answers are as follows: QUESTION 1: What are your color requirements? Government?s Response: There are none - nothing specific. QUESTION 2: The second line item of product calls for 62 boxes of CAT6e. Right now they do not make CAT6e they make CAT5e or just plain CAT6 or CAT6 augmented, but not CAT6e. Just need to get your specs on that cable to be clarified. Government?s Response: CAT6 will meet the requirement. QUESTION 3: You stated that we will be shipping the product to 62 different locations. Would you have a listing of states and how many destinations are in each state? We are trying to get a handle on the shipping, because our shipping is ranging from $377 to CA, and like around $700 to HI. Government?s Response: Two (2) each of 18/4 PL, 18/6 PL Wire, and 22/4 PL Wire will be shipped to each of the 62 locations. One (1) each of the CAT6E PL wire will be shipped to each of the 62 locations. QUESTION 4: Is the 124 boxes of 18/4 PL ,4-Conductor, Stranded, Overall Shielded, Plenum, CMP-CL2P, 1000? Pull Box the only "Shielded" wire? Government?s Response: Only 18/4 is shielded - none of the others have to be. All other terms and conditions of this RFQ remains the same.
