- The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D.Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201, intends to sole source to I.COMM, 49361 Shafer Ave., Wixom, MI. 48393. I.COMM, shall install the Rauland-Borg IV Nurse Call System for the VA Medical Center, Detroit, MI. I.COMM is the authorized distributor and installer of the Rauland-Borg Responder IV nurse call system in the Detroit area. This proposed contract action is for the installation of the equipment/system mentioned above, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is a follow on to phase one of the nurse call system upgrade procured in 2005. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from he General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract is solely with the discretion of the government. See numbered note 22. No E-Mail request will be accepted.
