Description
REGISTERED NURSE STATEMENT OF WORK The below SOW covers 3;30pm-12;00am 7 days per week. Contractor should be able to assess, plan and implement a patient care delivery system. Must be able to formulate a plan of care and contribute data to assessment by other disciplines. Must be able to prioritize problems and report significant changes in care to providers. Must be able to recognize specific patient goals and evaluate patients progress towards these goals.. Must collaborate with professional peers in meeting patients needs. Should be able to provide psychological support to patients and families thru telephone,direct care or referrals. Must be able to provide medications consistent with BCMA procedures. Contractor must be able to document care in medical records accurately. Must be able to provide education to patients and family members. Contractor may be asked to participate in service level performance improvement activities and identify areas that would benefit from monitoring and evaluation. Must be able to evaluate results of care provided by self and others. Should be able to organize and completes own assignments in timely manner .Must be able to interact in a courteous manner with staff, and patients and interact in a way to promote positive patient outcomes. Must maintain patient confidentiality and serve a a positive role model. Must abide by a medical center policies and ANA code of ethics. Will be expected to work with interdisciplinary teams in addressing administrative needs of clinical issues. Must be able to identify problems in clinical practices and initiate changes. Contractor must follow established safety and health regulations and workplace standards and be expected to attend all fire, safety and equipment maintenance classes. Should be computer literate. MUST POSSESS A CURRENT RN LICENSE AND BE ACLS AND BLS CERTIFIED.
