Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR SPECIAL NEEDS (WHEELCHAIR/STRETCHER) PATIENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, for the James A. Haley Veterans? Hospital, Tampa Florida. This is a presolicitation notice for services to be procured per the procedures at FAR 12, 13, and 15. Request for Proposals (RFP) Solicitation Number 673-3-07. Solicitation issue date on/about 16 October 2006, proposal due date approximately 30 days thereafter. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 485991, size standard $6.5M. Contractor to provide all personnel, materials, supplies, vehicles, equipment and supervision to provide transportation services for VA beneficiaries; wheelchair, stretcher, and other ambulatory patients. Period of performance: 1 April 2007 through 30 September 2007, with two 1-year option periods. Contractor must be licensed by the Hillsborough County (Florida) Public Transportation Commission to provide these services in the county.
