Description

The 96 Contracting Squadron, 96 CONS/MSCBA at Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract under the authority of FAR 6.302 to GE Betz Corp., 9669 Grogans Mill, The Woodlands, TX 77380 for Velcon M-100 Filter Elements. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice is issued as FIT3BU6262A1. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336412, with small business standard size of 1000 employees. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001, Qty (225) Two hundred, twenty-five, Each; I-440A4, 4? Coalescer CLIN 0002, Qty (150) One hundred, fifty, Each; SI-542, 4? Separator This is a coordinated research and development initiative spearheaded by WR-ALC. These items are the only qualified materials strictly for use with the GE Betz +100?F additive to the JP-8 aircraft fuel used by Eglin assigned fighter aircraft. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
