- SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR JEPPESEN SANDERSON?S MILPLANNER ENTERPRISE FLIGHT PLANNING SOFTWARE. DESC: INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH JEPPESEON SANDERSON, INC. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc., 55 Inverness Drive East Englewood, CO, 80112. JEPPESEN SANDERSON is the manufacturer/developer. The Sole Source purchase will be for the following commercial items and services as described ? Computerized Flight Planning Services that provides technical support, upgrades, and a warranty package. The software service provides worldwide mission planning and filling needs. The following listed items outline the requirements provided by the Computerized Flight Planning Services: Enhanced Flight Plans, Weather, and NOTAMS (1 Aircraft). Access to MilPlanner Online Through Existing Internet Service Provider. Unlimited Flight Planning, Text Weather, Graphic Weather, NOTAMS, on a 24 hour basis. Electronic ATC Flight Plan Filing 24 / 7 Technical Assistance Access to Flight Plans through MilPlanner Online or MilPlanner Enterprise (2 Software Licenses). 1 Copy of Jeppesen 28 Day Cycle Navdata for MilPlanner Enterprise. Unlimited Use of All Customer Databases. User Training for MilPlanner Online or MilPlanner Enterprise at a Jeppesen Location (1 Class per year, with up to 8 seats per class). Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the items above. If the office has not received any affirmative written responses by Close of Business September 25th, 2006, 5 p.m., a Sole Source purchase order will be pursued with Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc., 55 Inverness Drive East Englewood, CO, 80112.
