Description

This is a BRAND NAME ONLY request (Short Notice Close Date) This is a brand name request because this hardware meets the strict requirements and security requirements of the customer. This is the only hardware determined to pass all necessary security tests. Security and developmental testing of this equipment has already been accomplished. Other requirements are classified and cannot be discussed. The salient characteristics are as follows: Quantity 2 Each; Item: General Dynamics Taclane-mini Encryptor KG-175B release 3.1 General Dynamics Part Number MN-89100-1; Quotes are required to be received no later than 12:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, 26 September 2006, and must include the following: Company name; address; phone numbers; DUNS number; CAGE code; itemized quote with total; brief statement of capability; the offeror must have completed the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) and provide a statement that this has been completed which is the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (May 2004).
