Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W90CTN66595705 and it is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Fede ral Acquisition Circular 05-12. This acquisition is issued unrestricted and all responsible sources may submit a quotation for this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333210 and Small Business size standard is 500 emp loyees. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price Purchase Order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to be delivered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland for the following items: CLIN 0001  17 EA DOALL BANDSAWS MODEL NO. 2013-V CONTOUR BAND MACHINE, P/N CMI290166, 1 LOT $_____________ ; CLIN 0002  17 EA DOALL WELDER WITH GRINDER AND BLADE SHEAR  COLUMN MOUNTED FOR 208 OR 230 VOLTS  MODEL NUMBER DBW-15, P/N CM1299551, 1 L OT $_____________. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE REQUIRED TO BID ON ALL PRODUCTS. FAILURE TO PROVIDE PRICING FOR ALL CLINS WILL MAKE THE OFFEROR INELIBIGLE FOR AWARD. Contractor may submit equal products for the CLINS listed above. Contractors submitting eq ual products shall submit descriptive literature to demonstrate the products offered are equal to the products specified in this solicitation. A technical evaluation will be conducted on all products submitted as an equal. The technical evaluation will de termine the equality of the products being offered and shall be based on information furnished by the vendor. The Government is not responsible for locating or securing any information, which is not identified in the quotation. To ensure sufficient informa tion is available, vendors are requested to provide descriptive material such as illustrations, drawings, or other information necessary for the Government to determine whether the product meets the salient characteristics of the requirement. The contract will be awarded to Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) whose offer conforms to this solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
