Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91ZLK-06-T-0852 and it is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through F ederal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333999 and Small Business size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to award a firm-fixe d price Purchase Order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to be delivered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland for the following items: CLIN 0001 - Envirotronics Model EH273-1-CO2-TRLR with Micristar Controller, Temperature/Humidity Test C hamber or equal, Qty 4 EA; CLIN 0002  Envirotronics Model EH273-1-CO2-TRLR with Micristar Controller, Temperature/Humidity Test Chamber, Qty 1 EA; The above referenced part numbers are those of Envirotronics and are being solicited on a Brand Name or E qual Basis. The above characteristics are intended to be descriptive, but not restrictive. Unless clearly marked that the vendor is quoting on an equal the offered item shall be considered as the brand name product referenced in this announcement. If the vendor proposes to furnish an equal product, the brand name of the product to be furnished shall be inserted on the proposal. The contract will be awarded to Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The technical evaluation will be a determ ination as to equality of the product and shall be based on information furnished by the vendor. The Government is not responsible for locating or securing any information, which is not identified in the quotation. To ensure sufficient information is avail able, vendors are requested to provide descriptive material such as illustrations, drawings, or other information necessary for the Government to determine whether the product meets the salient characteristics of the requirement. The Government will award a contract to the offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The government reserves the right to make an award without discussions. The Government reserves the ri ght to award on an all or none basis.
