Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91ZLK-06-T-0849 and it is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through F ederal Acquisition Circular 05-12. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333415 and Small Business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible small businesses may s ubmit a quotation for this requirement. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price Purchase Order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to be delivered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland for the following items: CLIN 0001. QTY 10 , Portable AC Units, Model #MOB-60-12HP-60,000 AC 208-volt portable AC unit w/12kw heat pack option (44,300 btu) CLIN 0002. QTY 20, Flange Adapter, Model #12-18 Y Flange-AC accessories CLIN 0003. QTY 8, Insulated Duct, Model #VAP1225 12X25 Insulat ed Duct CLIN 0004. QTY 10, HD Duct, Model #VAP1825  18X50 HD Duct CLIN 0005. QTY 1, Miscellaneous Equipment/Materials CLIN 0006. QTY 1, ac Setup Labor CLIN 0007. QTY 1, Electrical Setup Labor CLIN 0008. QTY 1, Estimated Freight Charg es The contract will be awarded to Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The technical evaluation will be a determination as to equality of the product and shall be based on information furnished by the vendor. The Government is not responsible for locating or securing any information, which is not identified in the quotation. To ensure sufficient information is available, vendors are requested to provide descriptive material such as illustrations, drawings, or other information necessary for th e Government to determine whether the product meets the salient characteristics of the requirement. The Government will award a contract to the offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government, price and oth er factors considered.
