Description

The Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC) is seeking information on sources that can provide the Army with the development of a device that can be tethered to the Handheld Interagency Identity Detection Equipment(HIIDE(tm))Integrated into a Biome tric Automated Toolset(Government off-the-shelf software). BAT integrates commercial off-the-shelf hardware and software into a biometric enrollment and data repository system. The BAT system currently incorporates three biometric capture devices: Facal recognition, iris recognition and fingerprint recognition. The Government's goal is to acquire a prototype (designed, developed and implemented) that will provide multi-modal biometric collection capabilities into the HIIDE(handheld device)-tethered (with limited off-tethered capabilities) to a windows based Personal Computer. The designated NAIC Code is 334119 for this effort.Your response shall include the following: Size of company (i.e. 8(a), Hubzone, WOSB, SB, Veterans, all others), Your total revenue for the last three years, Past performance on similar work dating back 5 years, your company's capabilities an innovative ideas to this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Gover nment to determine that your company possess the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition.
