Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). All correspondence shall reference number W912NR-06-R-0009. This solicitation document and incorporated pro visions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. This procurement is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 336212 and the associated small busin ess size standard is 500 employees. ITEM DESCRIPTION: One each 108 inch wide x 29 feet long x 7 foot six inch gooseneck trailer configured as a mobile recruiting office for the Louisiana Army National Guard. Trailer should meet the following criteria: twen ty eight foot box length bumper pull trailer aluminum, two hundred and fifty pound axles with brakes, eight lug sixteen inch tires, solid back all side curb side entrance with step, hydraulic actuated folding ramp, vinyl floors with carpeted walls and whit e vinyl ceiling, small rest room with sink and toilet, two rooftop air conditioners with heat, seven kilo watt super quiet gas generator with fuel tank capacity to run ten to twelve hours, six each four foot ceiling mounted fluorescent light fixtures, six each wall mounted receptacles, two each fourteen foot wall mounted high quality laminated counter tops, base cabinets with travel hatches including doors.
