- Description
- The USP&FO for New York is seeking moving contractors. The New York Army National Guard is moving a portion of its administrative offices from Latham, New York to Watervliet, New York. The planned moving dates are 6-8 October 2006. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for 27 September 2006 at 9:00 AM EST at the New York State Division of Military Affairs, 330 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, New York 12110-3514. Both locations will be visited. The Service Contract Act of 1965 is applicable to this acquisition. In order to be awarded a contract the contractor will have to be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). www.ccr.gov is the registration web site. A formal RFQ will be issued and distributed at the site visit. The scope of work involves moving packed boxes of file s, packing and moving miscellaneous office equipment, and packing and moving computer equipment, then transport the equipment to the new location. The contractor will then unpack the equipment at the new location. A Statement of Work will be included in the RFQ. The due date for pricing will be 29 September 2006.
