Description

Solicitation for the possible standardization of Orthopedic Soft Goods, Upper Extremity for TRICARE Northwest Region. These products include, but are not limited to, a complete product line of Orthopedic Soft Goods, Upper Extremity. Those companies interested in a possible Regional Incentive Agreement (discounted DAPA pricing based on volume) with TRICARE Northwest Region must respond to the following questions: Clinical Criteria: Wrist Braces/splints: 1. Latex-free 2. Fits right or left wrist 3. Adjustable closure 4. Bendable palmar piece available 5. Lightweight 6. Easy one-handed application and removal 7. Various sizes available for adult and pediatric populations Company Criteria: 1. Does your company provide a full line of Orthopedic soft-goods for upper extremities? Please Explain. 2. Does your company manufacture Orthopedic soft-goods for upper extremities or is your company a distributor? 3. How are your products packaged? 4. Does your company have a Distribution agreement with Cardinal Healthcare? 5. Does your company currently possess a DAPA (Distribution and Pricing Agreement) with the government 6. Is your company large enough to satisfy product needs for entire TRICARE Northwest (Washington and Alaska)? 7. Does your company have a 1-800 number for customer questions and product representatives for each account? Please explain. 8. Does your company have a clinical education program for customers? Please discuss the educational resources and tools for clinicians that your company provides. 9. Please describe any value added services that your company provides. 10. Provide your companys return goods policy. 11. Discuss any issues your company has had with recalls and/or back orders of product 12. Describe your companys proposed implementation plan if you were to enter into an agreement with TRICARE Northwest region. 13. Is your product line suitable for use in field environment?
