Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitations H92242-06 T-0017 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and this is a notice that NSWG4 Contract Office, NAB Little Creek, Norfolk VA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-09. The associated NAICS code is 811121, the Small Business Size Standard is $6.5 This is a competitive full and open procurement. The Naval Special Warfare Group 4 requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Line Item 0001: Provide Repairs and /or upgrades to seven (7) F800 four door diesel trucks in accordance with job specifications cited below. Note that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration system to be considered for the award. Registration is free and can be completed online at tttp://www.ccr.gov. All questions shall be sent to Ruby Phillips, at (757) 492-1341 or email phillips_r@nsweast.socom.mil INDEPENDENT GOVERNMENT ESTIMATE STATEMENT OF WORK 1.0 Project Overview: 1.1 Perform emergent repairs and or upgrades to seven F800 four door diesel trucks in accordance with job specifications. 2.0 Detailed Description of the Work to be performed: 2.1 Task Description: Repairs may include sanding/blasting, priming and painting to body, undercarriage and truck liner. Repair scratches, gouges and dents to body and truck liner. Applying protective coating to truck?s undercarriage and applicable components. 2.2 Place of Performance: Special Boat Team will deliver and pick up Trucks for all work performed. 2.3 Contractor Furnished Material: Contractor will supply all materials and equipment, unless specified otherwise, to complete the repairs. Contractor will be required to furnish all tools and equipment. 2.4 Government Furnished Equipment (GFE): Special Boat Team will provide the GFM listed in job specification to Contractor during this task. Special Boat Team will approve all paints and protective coating prior to application. Upon completion of this task, the Contractor will return excess GFM to Special Boat Team. 2.5 Performance and Delivery: The requested start date for this effort is 2 October 2006. The contractor shall begin procurement of all materials necessary to perform all work as specified in job specification. The completion date for this effort is 30 November 2006. NOTE: WORK SHALL BE PLANNED AND SCHEDULED SUCH THAT THE COMPLETION DATE WILL BE MET. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO INCLUDE IN THE BID ANY OVERTIME HOURS WHICH MAY BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THIS TASK DURING THE TIME PROVIDED. F800 Four Door Diesel Truck Job Specifications Body Repairs/Preservation Description Repair scratches, gouges and dents Sand/Blast rusted areas thought-out entire truck Prime all repairs, sanded or blasted areas prior to painting Paint entire truck Gun Smoke Gray or with government approved paint *SBT-20 will be required to approve paint prior to application Cab Repairs Description Repair rips and tears to cab seats Re-mat/spray cab flooring *SBT-20 will be required to approve spray coating prior to application Undercarriage Repairs/Preservation Description Sand/Blast rusted areas Prime all sanded or blasted areas Apply protective coating to entire undercarriage *SBT-20 will be required to approve protective coating prior to application Tire and Rim Repairs/Preservation Description Remove tires and rims Sand/Blast rim rusted areas Prime all sanded or blasted areas Paint outside of Rim Gun Smoke Gray or with government approved paint Reinstall Tires and Rims *SBT-20 will be required to approve coating prior to application Mechanical Repairs and Replacements Description Replace Guide Poles Replace Mud Flaps Repairs and or replace damaged bumpers Replace damaged strap rollers Provide 40 man-hours and $500.00 materials for growth repairs and for incidental items not covered by specifications
