Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requires professional services necessary to provide technical assistance related to the improvement of deficiencies in cancer registry management, operations, and quality control and to conduct audits of abstracting coding and case finding activities of central cancer registry programs in State Health Departments throughout the country. One contract award is anticipated to the responsible offeror whose combination of Methodology and Approach, Management Plan and Personnel and Corporate Capability and Experience, provide the best value to the government. The successful contractor’s proposal will be examined to ensure that the work is described in sufficient detail to achieve the desired outcomes as stated by the Government. It is anticipated that the contract will be for 5 years or 60 months, incrementally funded through phases and is scheduled to begin in September 2006 and to end in August 2011. The tentative issue date is March 28, 2006, with the RFP issue date approximately 30 days after posting of the RFP, 2006-N-08427. The RFP will be available only by downloading at this internet site: www.fbo.gov/. All questions/concerns about the RFP shall be submitted via e-mail to Dreedpenix@cdc.gov. The complete solicitation package will be available and posted at this site for downloading when issued. No telephone requests of the solicitation will be accepted or entertained. No hard copy of the solicitation package will be mailed. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration. The associated NAICS codes is 541611. It is your responsibility to keep up with additional postings regarding the RFP on the Fedbizopps Website. A wage determination has not been requested since the requirement involves meaningful numbers of professional employees as defined in FAR Subpart 22.11.
