- JAviation maintenance, overhaul. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials for maintenance, overhaul of the Quill Assembly, Input/Output NSN: 1615-01-112-5904, Input/Output Part Nu mber: 205-040-263-111. The proposed contractual action will be a five-year, firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a minimum quantity is 96 each, maximum quantity 576 each (20% of the quantity for FMS). Author ity cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. Technical data is available to support the Overhaul/Upgrade of the Quill Assembly. Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 55-1615-155 does exist for the subject item configuration. This item has been ide ntified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and as such requires overhaul from an approved source IAW DFAR, Subpart 209.202. Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Hurst, TX (Cage 97499) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and is the only approved source of overhaul support for this item. Responsible sources, that can perform the above effort, may submit an offer, but all offerors must meet pre-qualification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Award will not be withheld pending approval of new so urce(s). The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date state above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. No telephone or e-mail requests will be accepted.
