- The 37th Contracting Squadron at Lackland AFB intends to award a contract to purchase an Aft Center Door Maintenance Stand in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. This is a Brand Name Requirement in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1(c), Application for brand name descriptions. The Brand Name Justification is as follows: The maintenance stand must be manufactured in accordance with Technical Order 1C-5A-4-9. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as 100% Small business set-aside. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 and DFARS Change Notice 20060908. North American Industry Classification System Code 333924 and Size Standard of 750 employees apply to this procurement. Solicitation number FA3047-06-06TC1214 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted). Quotes should include delivery date, discount terms, DUNS, tax identification number, and cage code. Quotes must also be submitted on an all or none basis. FOB: _____________ for delivery to 209 Galaxy Rd, San Antonio TX 78236. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced, responsible offeror. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. STATEMENT OF WORK This project will involves the manufacture of an Aft Cargo Center Door Maintenance Stand Dolly, part number 4S10020-105A. 1.0 PROJECT REQUIREMENTS 1.1 Manufacture Maintenance Stand Dolly in accordance with government provided specifications. The dolly is approximately 47 feet long and 13 feet wide. A general description is located in Technical Order 1C-5A-4-9 FIG 9 INDEX.32. The following additional specifications will be provided on request, if required: 4S11181-101A, 4S11180-101A, 4S11179-101A, 4S11177-101A, 4S11146-101A, 4S11145-101A, 4S11143-101A, 4S11167-101A, 4S11126-101C. 1.2 Painting ,stenciling, and identification of dolly must be IAW drawing. 1.3 Materials used in the fabrication must not be deviated unless approved by the 433d. 1.4 Dolly must be constructed at contractor?s location and then transported to 433d and assembled together on-site. 1.5. Welding Technicians must be certified in accordance with American Welding Standards (AWS). 1.6. A two year warranty shall be provided on the Maintenance Stand Dolly. 1.7 Contractor must be available to witness form fit and function when the 433d places the center door on the dolly for the first time. 2.0 QUALITY ASSURANCE. All work will be subject to periodic inspection and acceptance by the 433d or contracting officer or his/her representative. 2.1 Contractor must be approved by a DCMA Authorized inspector. 3.0 OPERATING HOURS. Hanger operating hours are 0600 to 1500.
