This is a presolicitation notice for a requirement Operational Contracting has for safety shoes for employees of Mitchell Hall, the Cadet Dining Facility at the Air Force Academy. It is expected that Blanket Purchase Agreements will be completed with one or more contractors who have retail outlets in the Greater Colorado Springs, Colorado metropolitan area. Those contractors would be responsible for providing approximately 200 pairs of safety shoes annually. The employees would come to the contractors place of business to try on the shoes before purchase. Shoes must be black or brown in color and the contractor would not exchange money with any individual. The method of payment would be Government Purchase Card (Visa). The proposed Agreement process listed here is unrestricted. Women owned and small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to contact the Contract Specialist if they have a retail facility within a reasonable distance from the US Air Force Academy installation. A solicitation will not be posted. No further notices will be posted. All interested sources may identify their product and capability by contacting the Contract Specialist.
