Description

22. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publi cation of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will no rmally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a combined synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplement with additional information inc luded in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The purpose of this requirement is to purchase Discovery A Bone Densitometer , 010-1123 Cable Kit, PWR -451 Discry, Body Composition SW for XP, General Region of Interest for XP, Iris for Windows-XP, Mobility - Solo, 17 Inch Flat Panel Monitor, Prosthetic Hip Option for XP, Small Animal Option, and Discovery A Silver Service. The Governments intention to award sole source. The following clauses apply to this solicitation and the resultant contract.
