Description

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR LEASE OF RELOCATABLES (MOBILE OFFICES) TO THE 412TH ELECTRONIC WARFARE GROUP. DESC: INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH GE MODULAR SPACE. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Transport International Pool Inc, dba: GE Modular Space, 530 East Swedesford Road, Wayne, PA 19087. The Sole Source purchase will be for the following commercial items and services as described ? a 1-year lease of an 11-trailer (11Plex) relocatable complex at the Electronic Warfare Complex. The following Statement of Work explains further details for the Lease Service: STATEMENT OF WORK FOR LEASE OF 11-PLEX RELOCATABLE COMPLEX PREPARED BY 412 EWG/EWS, EDWARDS AFB, CA 93523 1.0 SECTION I - SCOPE: The purpose of this Statement of Work is to lease a relocatable facility, Building 1030A, comprised of 11 trailers. 1.1 Background: The MILCON project for the West Base Engineering Facility/Electronic Combat Engineering Facility is currently in the FYDP and prioritized by HQ AFMC/MSE. Interim facilities are required until construction is complete and beneficial occupancy of the new facility is achieved. HQ AFMC/MSE approved the use of a relocatable facility, Building 1030A, comprised of 11 trailers until Dec 2009. The AFFTC Planning and Zoning Committee and 95th ABW/CE approved placement for the 11 trailer complex. The Army Corps of Engineers executed site preparation and acquisition of the trailers via an assignable lease. The 11 trailers are in place and currently occupied by the 412th Electronic Warfare Group. 2.0 SECTION II ? APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 2.1 All documents listed in this section are provided as reference material to aid in understanding the type and terms of the existing lease. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals.
