Description
STATEMENT OF WORK AMENDMENT #1: The following information is hereby amended into this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (20021344) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (see Internet site: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/), FAR Subpart 12.6, and Homeland Security Acquisition Regulation (HSAR): http://www.dhs.gov/dhspublic/interapp/editorial/editorial_0378.xml, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation and any amendments will be issued through Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizops.gov). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitioin Circular #2005-12, dated August 4, 2006. The NAICS code is 532412, with a size standard of $6.5 million in revenue. This acquistiion is not set-aside for small business. Multiple awards will not be accepted. Provisions: 52.212-1-Instructions to Offerors?Commercial (Jan 2006); Addendum to 52.212-1; 52.252-1-Solicitation Provisions Incorporated By Reference (Feb 1998); 52.212-2, Evaluation?Commercial Items (Jan 1999) - The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government: Price.; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items (Jun 2006) (a contractor can fill out and send in 52.212-3 or register at: http://orca.bpn.gov) END OF AMENDMENT #1 Requirement is for the six-month rental of an articulating and telescopic aerial device (bucket truck). SPECIFICATIONS: Boom Device: Minimum working height of 90 feet. Emergency platform lowering feature (vehicle power or engine off). Control of boom from both ground and platform. Platform: Two-man working platform. Platform does NOT have to meet ANSI requirements for insulated working platform. Vehicle Stabilization: Outriggers. Interlock device (boom cannot be moved without outriggers deployed). Chassis / Vehicle: New 2006 or 2007 year model. Automatic transmission. All-wheel drive (typical work environment of adverse terrain and extreme weather conditions). MAINTENANCE: Vendor responsible for maintenance including major breakdown and normal wear and tear. Customer responsible for day-to-day inspection of equipment/vehicle and supplies of fuel and lubricants. HARDWARE: Vendor to furnish all hardware, cabling, conduit, and fasteners required for operation of vehicle as intended. USAGE MILEAGE: Unlimited mileage TRAINING: On-site Training DELIVERY and PICKUP: Delivery to Del Rio, Texas. Price "Delivery and Pickup" as a separate line item on quotation.
