- Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) the Minneapolis VA Medical Center (VAMC) anticipates entering into a sole source procurement with Biosense Webster Inc for Image Integration Software Module, Cartomerge to be used with Carto XP Navigation System, to include training & operator?s manual. It is believed, for proprietary reasons that Biosense Webster is the only company that can provide this software. NAICS Code 511210, with a size standard of $21.0 million applies. Solicitation & award procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13 for commercial items will be followed. Solicitation No. RFQ-618-281-06 has been assigned. Formal bid documents are not available. Anyone wishing to respond to this notice must show clear & convincing evidence that they can meet these requirements. Interested parties that feel they have the ability to provide the required service/supply have until COB (Close of Business) 4:30PM on Wednesday September 27, 2006 to submit in writing their qualifications and capabilities information including technical data and pricing in to this office for consideration. Such qualifications, capabilities and pricing will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
