- Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command, Tyndall AFB Contracting Squadron, 501 Illinois Ave, Ste 5 Bldg 647, Tyndall AFB, FL, 32403-5526 Description This project consists of refurbishing of double stacked Sen-Dure heat exchangers. Each stack is three foot long with 6" diameter openings. The exchangers have been rebuilt one time. The exchangers will be transported by the government to the repair facility. The repair facility will be responsible to ship units back to Tyndall. The following is what the work will consist of but is not limited to: disassemble units, remove and replace cooling core bundles through the process of soldering etc., renew inner tube bundles with 90/10 CuNi tube bundles. Renew any damaged inlet/outlet copper elbows with like new units. Pressure test to industry standard and leave ready for extended service. Provide 6-month warranty period for refurbished units. The award will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The above description of work is for the purpose of general information only and is not intended to include and describe every feature or item of work or to define the scope of work. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 488390 with a small business size standard of $6,500,000.00. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside and preference will be given to woman owned small businesses and HUBZone firms. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds. NOTE: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires all contractors to have a DUNS number. Contractor should be aware that registering could take up to 3 weeks to process. Contractors may access CCR at http://www.ccr.gov.
