Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is set-aside exclusively for small businesses. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09 (19 Apr 2006) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement change notice 20060412. It is the offerors responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses/provisions. This purchase is for requisition of an oxygen analyzer is designed for continuous measurement of oxygen concentrations in air or other gas mixtures. The following specifications apply to this acquisition: --Operating Range must be 0-100 percent. --Analyzer must use a paramagnetic detector. --Oxygen analyzer must be rack mountable. --110V power supply --Detection limit less than or equal to 1% --Linearity less than or equal to1% --Gas Flow 0.2- 1.0 liter per minute --Maximum gas pressure less than or equal to 7 psig --Permissible ambient temperature 0-50 degrees Centigrade --Influence of Gas flow less than or equal to 2% Note: The Analyzer must be able to be integrated into the existing sample handling system. The existing Sample handling system performs automatic calibration using Nitrogen as the zero gas and 99.999 % O2 as the Span gas. Also allows introduction of the sample into the meter. System must have a flow meter. Installation into existing sampling system must be included in bid. ?Technical? questions will be handled by Mr. Kurt Greebon @ 210-536-5832 The type of contract anticipated is firm-fixed price. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13 in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition threshold of $100,000.
