- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, and equipment necessary to clean all cooking exhaust hoods & ducts, clothes dryer ducts, and paint booth exhausts at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Arizona. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. The work is described as follows: Steam clean and treat the entire inside surface of ducts, the underside of the range and hoods, all exposed surface of fans, motor housing, metal penthouses, louvers, and other appurtenances located inside the duct or penthouse, and louvers, at discharge of exhaust to atmosphere. Clean, using a dry cleaning method, paint booth exhausts, and ducts of all grease, solvents, paint, or any other foreign materials. All work will be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Period of performance will be 1 October 2006 - 30 September 2007. Anticipated start date is 1 October 2006. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code for this solicitation is 561790. The Request for Proposal will be issued using Past Performance/Price Trade-Off IAW FAR 15.101-1 resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. This announcement constitutes the solicitation, proposals are being requested, and paper copies will not be available. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may take up to three weeks to complete, so we recommend immediate attention to ensure eligibility. For registration, go to http://www.ccr.gov and follow the instructions. A Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit is scheduled for 15 September 2006 at 8:00 a.m. MST (PDT) in the 355th Contracting Squadron conference room.
