- Description
- The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN(S) with various end items. This proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 4720. See Note(s) 1, 9 and 26. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 29 Aug 2006 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for a source-controlled drawing. This signifies that this procurement is restricted to approved sources only. This AMSC code implies that parts procured under this NSN are candidates who are approved sources for this material. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed five (5) years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery and past performance evaluation factors as described in the soliciation. This solicitation will be issued as unrestricted with a source-controlled drawing. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-AUG-2006).
