- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is a brand name purchase on the grounds that the HP Alpha system is the only system that is compatible with the current systems used on the JSTARS aircraft. All proposals must quote the equipment listed below. No equivalent equipment will be accepted. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for equipment in support of the JSTARS information systems.
