Description: We intend to issue a FFP contract to ITT Industries, Inc on a sole source basis. The Asymmetric Warfare Group has a need to procure and deploy the New Generation AN/PVS-23 night vision system. This contract is for the Gen 3, AN/PVS-23 and Helmet Mo unt assembly that has already been combat tested by U.S SOCOM. This system has advanced and improved capabilities for night operations essential to the success of our forces. ITT Industries Inc. is the only manufacturer and has all proprietary informatio n and rights regarding these night vision goggles.
